Handcrafted Wooden Crucifix Wall Cross, 17 Inch ~ Carved From Real Wood, Rooted in Old Devotion
📖 Why Wood Has Always Mattered
Around the year 326, a woman named Helena, mother of the Roman emperor Constantine, is said to have traveled to Jerusalem and found what Christians came to venerate as the True Cross - fragments of the actual wood believed used at the crucifixion. Within decades, pieces of that wood had spread across the Christian world, each one treated as a small, tangible link to that moment. A wooden crucifix carries a quiet echo of that same instinct: that the material itself, not just the image, can mean something.
